For what purpose do we process your personal data?

At onLygal Servicios Legales we treat the information provided by interested persons in order to:

1. Comply with the obligations derived from the hiring of the legal service and with the legal obligations related to the management of the contract.
2. Exchange information with Onlygal Seguros y Reaseguros, S.A.U. (hereinafter, onLygal Seguros) for the purposes of intra-group administrative management.
3. Prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.

The refusal to provide the required information will authorize onLygal Servicios Legales to not formalize the contract.

No automated decisions will be made based on your profile.

How long will we keep your data?

The personal data provided will be kept as long as the contract concluded with onLygal Servicios Legales is in force and, in any case, until the provision of the contracted services is completed. After five years from the date of cancellation of the contract, onLygal Servicios Legales will block your personal data in order to prevent its treatment, except for making it available to Public Administrations and Courts, in order to comply with legal obligations. Once the blocking period has elapsed, it will be deleted.

What is the legitimacy for the processing of your data?

The legal basis for processing your data is the one indicated below, correlatively with the aforementioned purposes:

1. The data processing to fulfill the contract concluded with the interested party is necessary to be able to provide the contracted service, as well as to fulfill the obligations derived from the contracting of a service established in the Royal Decree of July 24, 1889 by which the Civil Code is published and in compliance with the legal obligations established in the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws (hereinafter Law of Consumers and Users).
2. The communication of intra-group information for internal administrative purposes is based on the legitimate interest of onLygal Servicios Legales to exchange information with its parent company onLygal Seguros, in accordance with Recital 48 of European General Data Protection Regulation ).
3. Treatment for the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing is necessary for onLygal Servicios Legales to comply with the legal obligations established in the Law 10/2010, of April 28, on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing.

To which recipients will your data be communicated?

onLygal Servicios Legales will communicate to your insurance company, those personal data that are necessary for it to know, for the benefit of the insured, the level of use of the service, the monitoring thereof and the quality of the service provided by onLygal Servicios Legales.

onLygal Servicios Legales has contracts with different providers, such as lawyers, attorneys and experts, who process the data on behalf of Lex in the event that their intervention is necessary in a claim. If necessary, to carry out the appropriate procedures, onLygal Servicios Legales will communicate your data to the Notary Public of your choice.

To onLygal Seguros for the purposes of intra-group administrative management.

No data will be transferred to other third parties, except legal obligation.

What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

Anyone has the right to obtain confirmation about whether onLygal Servicios Legales is treating personal data that concerns them.

• The user has the right to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
• In certain circumstances, the user may request the limitation of the treatment of their data, in which case we will only keep them for the exercise or defense of claims.
• In certain circumstances and for reasons related to their particular situation, the user may object to the processing of their data. onLygal Seguros will stop processing the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defense of possible claims.
• The user will have the right to portability , that is, to have the personal data that they have provided, be transmitted directly to another person in charge in a structured format, of common use and mechanical reading, when technically possible.
